WordPress on the iPhone

Just testing out the new Open Source WordPress app for the iPhone. It was just released a couple of hours ago and i’ve been playing around with it since. So far it feels solid. There are a few UI bugs but outside of that, I’m liking it!

Problems:
Once you tab on a post to edit it, it only gives you the option to post it. It doesn’t allow you to go back unless you tap the home button (which quits the app).

There’s also a time difference when I posted this note compared to what it says on the app.

I noticed it has some bugs like handling inserted photos and embeded maps. Other than that it’s a good start. Better than TypePad which says it’s free only to be fooled into paying for service. Good job WordPress. Now fix bugs and make better.
